If you find that your periods are irregular, you should go to the doctor without prolonging it because the more you wait, the more you age, and the harder it will get to get pregnant. through a blood test your doctor will determine if you are ovulating.. Irregular periods can make getting pregnant more difficult. but they don't necessarily mean you won't be able to get pregnant on your own. if you do struggle, there are many fertility treatment options available.. I too have irregular periods, from 2005-2006 i had 2 periods which were 18 months apart. i am currently 14 weeks 6 days pregnant with my #3 baby and so far everything looks healthy..

How to get pregnant with an irregular period posted on by women with regular periods will have between 11 and 13 menstrual periods in one calendar year, which means that they will have up to 13 chances to conceive each year.. Q: will having irregular periods make it harder for me to get pregnant? a: here is how i answer that question- if you ovulate regularly then you may have 13 chances in a year to get pregnant. if your period is every 40 days then you only have 10 times a year to try and therefore it could take more time but not always.. Irregular periods also can make it hard for a girl to know if she is pregnant, since she doesn't know when to expect her period. pregnancy shouldn't be the only concern about having sex, though. any time you have sex, especially unprotected sex, you risk getting a sexually transmitted disease (std)..
